Kongelys, now produced from september 2024 is a new modernized version of Niels Rasmussen Thykiers table lamp T3 from 1930.
Indirect LED light source:
Ra = 90, colour temperature 2700K,
energi consumption = 8,3W.
Opalescent acrylic shade, polished stainless steel.
Black ø6mm textile cord.
Height 470mm. Shade diameter ø375mm.

2024 Kongelys prototype
The shade, produced in Haslev, was ready to be tested with the first decoration ring 21/2-24. It's not a simple matter to adjust ring and shade. The greatest challenge was to make the ring as uniform as possible. However, it was approved 10/4-24.
In the beginning of september the production of the first lamps began. The very first three lamps were sent 10/9-24 to Baltzer (Lysmesteren) in Lyngby and LamperOnline.dk
